Hunger is a very real issue in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Every day, 1 in 10 of our neighbors does not have enough to eat. This includes more than 40,000 children in our community.

For the month of November, please join my food drive for Fulfill (formerly the food bank of Monmouth and Ocean counties) by donating any of the items below. I can come to your home to pick up any items you would like to contribute.

Most needed non-perishable items:

• Low Sodium Canned Vegetables: Green Beans, Corn, Mixed Veggies, Yams

• Cranberry Sauce 

• Boxed Potatoes 

• Boxed Stuffing 

• Gravy 

• Canned Soup and Broth 

• Pie Crust

• Cornbread Mixes 

The donation of manual can openers would also be much appreciated!
